So 4 years ago one of the worst possible things that could ever happen to someone happened,me and many others lost a friend to cancer. I may not have been one of Georgina’s closest friends but she was a friend and for this to happen to someone that you care about is devastating. Georgina was amazingly talented and had a voice which inspired me and many others, her very own song “ two thirds of a piece” is beautiful and I can’t sum up in words how her voice makes me feel. Another thing that happened 3 years ago was my hair donation which was one of the biggest and proudest moments of my life and I can’t believe how much my hair has grown since. It’s been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster this year for many reasons including loosing Georgina’s Dad Paul but the one person that has inspired me and taught me to stay positive is Helen, I don’t know how you do what you do it’s so incredibly brave and you are amazing. I’ve thought long and hard about what I wanted to do to remember Georgina this year and because I’m home from uni I’ve decided that I’m going to be donating my hair again, I know I was going to to it in December but tomorrow just feels like the right time to do this! I’m feeling nervous but I know what I’m doing is going to help someone else and that’s what matters. If anyone wants to donate to the little princess trust it would be appreciated so much and would mean the world to me !
