I entered the ballot for London Marathon after being encouraged by two friends (you know who you are) not expecting to get in. But I did. This was for the 2020 marathon, which was postponed to October 2020, then October 2021.

So, training is fully underway and the body is not happy! Pity I can’t raise money for my physio appointments... 

I have chosen Shiresmill as Jemma used to volunteer there many years ago and speaks highly of their work. They are a small charity near Blairhall who provide riding therapy for disabled children and adults. They are struggling with funds (like most charities) due to Covid and any donation, no matter how small, will help. Please remember if you’re a UK taxpayer they can claim Gift Aid, so tick the box!
