Story

I've set myself a challenge, to stand up paddleboard (SUP) around Anglesey this summer! A mighty 120km distance paddling through some challenging sections of the Anglesey coastline. It's certainly going to test me mentally and physically. I need to plan it carefully, using the tides and wind to my advantage.

Why am I doing it on a SUP I hear you say? I live on Anglesey and I'm doing it to raise money for two great charities Surfers Against Sewage and The North Wales Wildlife Trust. I'm wanting to educate and raise awareness about water pollution and to highlight what amazing marine environment we have which we need to preserve.. I'm very passionate about the environment and it saddens me seeing no end of plastic washed on our beautiful coastline when I'm out paddleboarding.

My Nain (grandmother in Welsh) was incredibly passionate about wildlife and spent many years studying and taking photography of flora and fauna. She was actively involved with wildlife charity work and spent time raising money for the North Wales Wildlife Trust. This is to continue my Nain’s legacy.

The training and planning has begun. Please support me by visiting my two Just Giving pages.
