Anna’s story
Anna joined IC Resources in December 2013, after almost 10 years at Thames Valley Police, and from day one she brightened up the office with her positive attitude and love for life. She very quickly became an integral part of the IC Resources family.
In December 2016 Anna went on maternity leave and welcomed the most beautiful little girl Alba into the world with her husband Ed. In June 2017, whilst on maternity leave Anna was diagnosed with bowel cancer that had spread to her liver and lungs. In typical Anna fashion she tackled this head on and remained strong and positive throughout, her and Ed set out to raise as much money as they could for McMillan and smashed both targets they initially set with over £30,000 being raised on total.
Unfortunately in May 2018 Anna was told that treatment had not worked and the cancer had once again spread. She married the love of her life Ed on the 26th May, surrounded by family and close friends, before sadly passing away on the 7th June 2018.
Why this is so important to IC Resources…
Together we want to keep Anna’s memory alive by continuing her incredible charity work and supporting a charity, Victoria’s Promise, that helped and supported Anna throughout.
Anna’s death had a devastating impact on everyone that knew her, and there will forever be a part missing from the IC Resources family.
