I lost my dear friend and colleague Helen a year ago this May, and I wanted to do something courageous in her name to raise money for a charity that Helen believed in deeply and gave her energy, passion and time to for sixteen years.  I turned 50 this year. Helen died at 50. Six months before she died she celebrated her birthday in style with her family and all of us who loved her. I hope Helen would be proud of me learning to swim frontcrawl, cycling for the first time in London.... she probably would have laughed. Clean Break will be honouring Helen later this year and the money you donate will support the organisation to do that in a fitting way.
