Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I started running parkruns with my family last year in February when I was 6. It isn't easy and there have been many times when I had to tell the little demons in my head ( who wanted me to stop) to 'shut up' ( I'm allowed to say it when I'm talking to them) and 'go away'!
My mum and dad used to have to distract me with ideas for cakes to bake or talking through the week's family news but nowadays, my mum struggles to keep up with me some weeks.
Somehow, all these runs have clocked up and it's a family routine now on a Saturday morning and I'm hoping to run my 50th parkrun in Winchester on my 8th birthday, the 23rd of May. My mum will have to bake a lot of cake for that day as it appears to be traditional to feed the rest of the runners after a 'celebration' run.
I have been wanting to do something for children with a lot less than me for a while and my mum thought this would be a good start.
Please come along on the day to run with me, support me ( or my mum by baking cakes) and if you can give a little to my chosen charity, even better.
