My father spent his last days at St Barnabas House, a few years ago now.  St Barnabas is not depressing - it's a place of calm and tranquility, the staff (paid and voluntary) are all lovely.

People who know me will be stunned to think that I am doing something energetic to raise money.  Yes, I'm going to be walking for 13 miles along the promenade at Worthing.  As you can see from the photo above, the training is coming along nicely.
