Story
My rock, my inspiration and the lady I was privileged to call my mum is finally at peace. I will carry our mutual love in my heart always 💜.
This event is probably more of a jog/walk than the intended run given priorities have rightly changed but the organisers have been lovely and don’t close the finish until everyone has crossed the line, so anything you are able to donate to keep me going will be amazing. Thank you so much Rachel for doing your late entry to keep me company. Your friendship is priceless.
Here’s our family tribute 💜
Yvonne, Albert’s wife, our beautiful Mum and Grandma passed away peacefully on the 28th April 2022.
All three of her children and Dad were by her side.
Mum’s love of family, values, and strength will continue to shape Dad’s and our lives. Everyday we see them reflected in all her amazingly special and talented grandchildren, Samuel, Bethany, Clara, Luke, Harry and Tom.
Ian, Steve, Sarah and Tash, we also want to acknowledge the support and love you gave and received from Mum.
It’s impossible to find the words that reflect your legacy Mum. So we share the below poem.
Legacy of Love
A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you
You taught us love and how to fight
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best
And now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep
