Story
On the night...the weather was grim as we arrived at Battsea Power Station and we had to dodge the down pour of rain to get into Moon city. Fortunately by the time we started to walk at 10.45pm, the rain had cleared up, but it was very cold!
It was a very chilly night, but the atmosphere was good fun and we had great company!
The naughty organisers extended the the half marathon walk to nearly 14 miles.
We completed the walk at 3.10am to learn the chauffeur (Eddie, our injured team mate- had over slept and had forgotten to leave in time to pick us up). Never mind... with hot drinks in hand, bacon butties and porridge for us veggies, huddled in a space blanket we mulled over the walk.
Eventually our carriage arrived to whisk us home.
Thanks to the team and everyone who has sponsored us.
We are taking part in the half moon on Saturday 11th May.
We thought it was a great cause and challenge to do together as a group of friends.
