My mum, Mary Foster, sadly passed away last summer.  She spent her last few weeks being cared for in Willow Wood Hospice. Through their caring staff, beautiful gardens, great canteen (wonderful puddings!), they somehow created an atmosphere where we could just relax and focus on enjoying mum's company. They rely heavily on fund raising from the local community and I hope to raise money that will help support other families like ours.

Stanwick is a village in Northamptonshire, close to where my family lived for many years. They have an annual 10k every Easter Monday  and this will be the first time I have run it rather than being a spectator. The run is on 28th March - http://www.stanwickraces.co.uk/
