Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
A group of 15 from Creative Tops will be taking on the challenging Tough Mudder course this May, hoping to raise some money for this fantastic charity in Northamptonshire. A group of 8 crazy ladies will be partaking in 6 gruelling miles of rough terrain and obstacles. While a group of 7 barmy boys take on a 12 mile course. We're all running to help support those who are affected by Breast Cancer in Northamptonshire.
This unique, local charity was first established back in 2001 when its founder, former head teacher Glennis Hooper, was diagnosed with breast cancer at a very significant time in her life. Glennis has an amazing story to tell about her life, and that of thousands of others, since a simple, crazy idea became a reality whilst trying hats on in Debenhams in Northampton when she was on chemotherapy.
Crazy Hats supports all aspects of breast cancer care in Northamptonshire with a small percentage of funds being given to Leicester Royal Infirmary. With an initial donation of £5.00 from an 86 year old lady who had breast cancer at the same time as Glennis, the current total now stands at over £2 million – an amazing amount!
Any donations to this great cause would be amazing.
Thank you,
From your CT Tough Mudder Gang xxx
