Fundraising for Brighter Futures

My name is Arisha and on Friday 9th Dec I will be shaving all my hair off to raise money for Brighter Futures. This charity has played a big role in my life and without it I would not have the confidence or skills to be the person I am today. I now want to give something back to this wonderful charity to show my gratitude.
Why am I shaving all my hair off? I’ve wanted to do something different to raise money for this charity for a long time and feel I now have the confidence to do this for myself and for others (my hair will also be donated to The Little Princess Trust to help provide wigs to children suffering hair loss with a terminal illness). This way I feel I can help two charities at the same time, that I feel would really benefit from my support.
With your donations the money raised from shaving all my hair off will help raise funds for Brighter Futures Jersey.
Brighter Futures is a charity that supports parents, carers, children and young people in Jersey. They provide a number of free programmes and services to help support parents and carers from across the social system. All have different backgrounds, experiences, family and financial situations and many suffer from poverty, isolation, physical illness and low self-esteem. Every donation that you make will go towards enabling a family to access these services and start the journey of turning their lives around
