The iconic Around Jersey Solo swim has been COMPLETED. English Channel solo swimmer Dave Chisholm swam the 41 miles in 11 hours 22 minutes on 6th August 2020!!

The swim is dedicated to raising funds for Plastic Oceans UK. It’s a great cause and all donations will be most gratefully passed on to them by JustGiving.

Plastic Oceans UK’s mission is to stop plastic reaching the oceans within a generation. They have been experts on plastic pollution for a decade, starting with award-winning documentary A Plastic Ocean. It’s been named by Sir David Attenborough as “one of the most important films of our time” and has ignited mass consumer awareness. Now they have engaged citizens – it’s time to solve the crisis and change attitudes. Their programmes engage multiple audiences on the appropriate use and value of plastics, as we commit to long-lasting change.
