As lots of you know I am a keen runner and ran a half marathon last year to raise funds for Ayrshire Baby Loss . This year I had set myself a personal challenge of running my first ever (probably last ever) marathon! 🙈🏃🏼‍♀️ I always said I’d like to do one before I’m 40! 

An opportunity has arisen for me recently to now run the London Marathon on behalf of Bighearted Scotland! So I’ll actually be raising much needed funds for 5 awesome Scottish charities including Erskine veterans, Epilepsy Scotland, Onekind (preventing animal testing), Spina Bifida hydrocephalus Scotland and Penumbra Mental Health charity. Each of the charities do fabulous work but with the main aim of creating positive futures together! 

My training is going well - having just completed week 9 of my 17 week programme. This news has come at a great time - helping me to keep my motivation levels high as my legs tire from running 40+ mile weeks.
