Story
I am very excited about taking part in this run on behalf of the Woolf Institute. For my year in Cambridge, I have been deeply involved with the life of this organisation. It such an honour to be involved with the Commission on Religion and Belief in British Public Life, one of the Institute's many projects. Likewise, I receive supervision from the institute's deputy director for my dissertation. Between these, I see all the good work the institute is doing - work I deem as very important and necessary.
Most importantly, the institute's bursary scheme is what allowed me to come to Cambridge and will result in me finishing my masters debt free. Likewise, the Woolf Institute is giving me a financial help to to stay in Cambridge for a PhD. That is something I am deeply grateful for, and I hope you can help me give back to an organisation that has done (and will do) so much for me.
The institute is a group of people who are committed to and passionate about interfaith study. Between the research, commissions, seminars, lectures and supervising students, the Woolf Institute is a unique place that has a shared commitment to interfaith understanding. Their work reaches from the Houses of Parliament to the lecture halls in Cambridge.
It has truly been an incredible experience to be alongside all the institute does. By donating, you will ensure that many more students, like myself, can share in this experience.
