Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are hoping to raise money and awareness for Edale mountain rescue team by doing something we love with a different kind of challenge thrown in. We plan to climb at all four Awesome walls centres in England in fancy dress. THE CATCH - we are going to do it on Sunday 16th October when they are only open from 10am to 8pm which means leaving Sheffield to climb at Liverpool, Stockport, Stoke, and back to Sheffield to complete the climbs. We will hopefully get a few donations on our way around the route of around 260 miles. We have seen the team in action on various occasions over the years but fortunately haven't needed them ourselves. They do a fantastic job from helping to get the helicopter out, carrying people down to safety and looking for lost/missing people. (check out their facebook page for recent call outs).
