We provide mental health support and advice to improve the lives of local people

Story

As most of you are probably aware, I lost my younger brother Steven Wallace earlier this year. One of the main reasons he lost his life was due to his mental issues. Myself and 5 others are taking the 60 mile canoe trek challenge in an attempt to raise 1000 pound for 'mind'. The reason we are doing this is because in the later stages of my brothers life, when my family couldn't cope, it was reassuring to know that there was people there to help and offer the care needed which not only helped him, but it relieved me and my family from the worry and the stress. I personally don't just want to do this for my brothers sake alone, but I want to raise the awareness of mental health and make people know that their is no need to suffer in silence and know that their is 'always' someone there who can help!
