In June 2016, ten Year 12 students of Barry Comprehensive, in partnership with HelpLanka, will be embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Sri Lanka.  The purpose of the trip is to contribute to bettering communities, in particular those most disadvantaged.

Mornings will be spent teaching at Uggalbodda Primary school, providing a variety of fun and engaging learning opportunities for the Sri Lankan children.  Afternoons will be spent in various locations, such as Ragama convalescent home, BS Jayawardene boys home and St Joseph's deaf school.  The team will be providing extra-curricular activities, such as face-painting, arts and crafts, sports and games.

Team Lanka will also be donating much needed resources to all establishments that they visit.
