Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit BDO's JustGiving page.

BDO Northern Ireland is proud to confirm details of a two-year partnership with Friends of the Cancer Centre.

The tie-up came about after the charity’s life-saving and life-changing services supported a number of staff members directly affected by cancer. Now more than 170 employees within the firm have signed up to show their solidarity with a two-yearprogramme aiming to  generate much-needed funding for pioneering research, clinical care, and patient comfort and care.

For three decades, Friends of the Cancer Centre has operated at Belfast City Hospital and supported thousands of local people affected by cancer and seeks to make a lasting difference to their lives and those of their families.

BDO's fundraising will start with our participation in the Friends of the Cancer Centre's Annual Dragon Boat Race on Saturday 2nd July.

About the charity

Each year Friends of the Cancer Centre funds life saving and life changing projects which make a real and positive difference to thousands of cancer patients and their families. The charity relies on donations from the public to be able to support these patients locally and across Northern Ireland.
