Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Adaptive Grand Slam is a Charitable organisation that supports military service men and woman, as well as civilians, who have sustained life changing injuries and have been medically discharged from the military. It helps to build their confidence by taking on huge challenges, while learning to lead and build relationships and through support groups.

I was Medically Discharged from the military in 2015 due to injuries sustained on operations in Afghanistan in January 2013. The AGS is a charity that I have close links to and have given me amazing opportunities since being discharged. I was given the opportunity to be an ambassador for the Charity in Sierra Leone last year, as well as Summiting Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside the Himalayans, with disabled athletes.

About the charity

The AGS Foundation provides relief to those in need by reason of physical and/or mental disability or long term illness and by promoting equality and diversity in disability. Our "Challenging Disability" network provides a variety of resource from 1-2-1 mentoring to climbing the highest mountains.
