We Train & provide assistance dogs to Disabled military/999 service personnel.

Story

Hounds for Heroes provide specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of the UK Armed Forces and UK Civilian Emergency Services.  This incredible organisation is Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health's charity of the year in 2019, and we're excited to be raising money to help them to carry out their life-changing work.

On Thursday 23rd May, 7 members of the UK Pet Vet team will leave London by bike bound for Paris, arriving in the French capital - god willing - by sundown on Saturday 25th.  We will be ably assisted on our route by a support crew comprising of Debbie Rogers - van / ambulance driver - Clare Hepburn providing her physio services to keep us peddling, and Ian Smith in the role of champion coach.

Between us we have over 250 years of 'life experience', however considerably less time spent in the saddle... what could possibly go wrong?

Please support us and give what you can to help raise much needed funds for this extremely worthy cause!

Our warmest thanks - Craig, Janet, David, Mairi, Mike, CJ ,Rob, Ian, Debbie and Claire.
