Type 1 Diabetes is an incurable condition that strikes indiscriminately, normally between the ages of 5 - 15. If untreated, it is fatal. Sadly, in South-East Asia there are many disadvantaged young people who do not have access to the insulin and blood testing equipment they need to survive.
