On 19-20 June (this weekend!), I'll be walking an ultramarathon of 53 miles from Arundel to Winchester, along the South Downs Way. The walk was cancelled last year, due to Covid, but I'm glad to say that it's going ahead this year! I'll be raising money for the Horsham-based Holbrook Animal Rescue and would appreciate your support.

As a volunteer at Holbrook, I particularly love working with the 25 or so dogs that we typically have in our care at any given time. Not only has this work provided me with a welcome sense of normality during Covid, but being able to continue supporting these abandoned dogs has been very rewarding, especially when I see them being welcomed into new, loving homes.

However, running a rescue is an expensive business. Costs continue to rise, but over the past year the Rescue has been unable to do its usual fundraising events. I'd love to help out by raising some funds for Holbrook Animal Rescue, through what I expect to be a tough weekend of walking. Anything you give will be greatly appreciated! Thank you x
