Story
On the 12th of July, I plan to run a 10k race to raise funds for a charity called The Anaphylaxis Campaign.
5 years ago my son, then not quite 2, had a severe, anaphylactic (roughly translates as fatal if not treated quickly) reaction to peanut butter on toast. It was also fast, terrifying and devastating. He didn't eat it, just put it in his mouth and took it out again. You can read more about it here

Without The Anaphylaxis Campaign we would have been completely lost. They were our port in the allergy storm - there with support, information and practical ideas on how to cope, not to mention quite a lot of sympathy when I phoned in floods of tears not knowing where to turn. Over the subsequent 5 years they have been, and continue to be, our go to people when we've got any questions, or need to vent! They are an amazing charity, staffed by really wonderful, caring people.
I'd like to raise funds to help them continue to help families like ours whose lives are turned upside down by anaphylaxis.
