Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

5 years ago, my Grandmother Hazel passed away. Hazel and my relationship was one of friendship rather than that of Grandmother and Grandchild, and there isn't a day that goes by when she isn't in my thoughts. Having suffered from varying forms of blindness her entire life, from complete blindness as a child to partial sightedness as an adult, I hope to raise some cash for a worthy charity, whose goal is to cure blindness, and gift sight back to those who don't have it

In an attempt to display some of that stubborness and sheer willpower which my Grandmother displayed in beating, coping and living with her blindness, I have decided to take part in a Tough Mudder.

Tough Mudder consists of 18 km of mud, obstacles, electified wires, ice baths and general evilness. As part of a works team I hope to come out of the experience not just alive but with a decent time.
