The students enrolled on the Full Time HND in Hair and Beauty Management course with Belfast Metropolitan College Titanic Quarter Campus are carrying out a Beauty Marathon morning to raise money for these two amazing charities. 

As part of our fundraising efforts we will be carrying out a raffle draw for some amazing prizes. 

First of all, here is some information about are chosen charities:

Look Good Feel Better is the only worldwide cancer support charity, providing practical support for women struggling with the side effects from cancer treatment. Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing of people undergoing treatment for any sort of cancer. It is our aim to improve their self-image and appearance through free group and self-help skincare and make-up workshops that create a sense of support, confidence, and wellbeing.

Angel Wishes provide children who are fighting cancer throughout Northern Ireland with special treats. The children face grueling chemotherapy resulting in a low immune system therefore the children can't risk everyday activities like going to school, seeing their friends or wee trips to the cinema. Angel Wishes provide treats for the children throughout their treatment by getting cinemas, bowling alleys and Airsoft companies to open up solely for the sick child and their parents. We also send "surprise visitors" to the hospital or home to put smiles on wee faces and post a little treat to a child who's fighting hard. 

The Beauty Marathon will be held on Wednesday 13th April from 9am to 11am in Belfast Metropolitan College in Titanic Quarter. During this event we will have mini treats for a donation such as:
•    File and paints
•    Hand massages
•    Express mini facials
•    Head, shoulder and neck massages
•    Brow bar
•    Smokey eyes
•    Perfect pout

We will also be drawing the raffle tickets at this event and will have refreshments at the Urban Escape @ Belfast Met reception.
