Story
Sadly I am not the first or last person who has been around someone you love that has had a stroke. Unfortunately its not always a winning battle and can have a big impact on your life and can change the person you care about completely. My story started 7 years ago when I started doing a Saturday job when I was 15 on which I meet Mrs Staples as I left school I started to do more to help her more on which I did her weekly shopping, lunch's out. And trips to the doctors when they were needed, on which I get my instructions from the doctor on what I had to do, or make sure she had done. She was a very loving lady who then became a member of my family who I talked to when I was down and she always gave me good advice and made me into who I am today. For this I realized I was very lucky to have such a lovely caring influence on my life. Sadly I have lost two of the kindest people I have ever known to a stroke. My nanny fort a long battle after having a stroke, we watched the person we knew and loved deteriorate in front of us. So heart breaking and powerless, I cant change the past but I can try and help the future and if conquering my fear of heights helps towards research to improve others future.
