As many of you know, we have visited a town called Bombo, in Uganda many times. We sponsor several children through school where they receive two meals a day and medical expenses alongside their education. The money we raise here will go towards building extra primary classrooms and a secondary school so these pupils can continue their education through to 18. Many pupils drop out of school at 13, especially girls, as they will miss school during their monthly cycle and then fall too far behind. They often turn to prostitution or find themselves in a bad relationship, pregnant and alone. If the community of Bombo can build a secondary school then these pupils will stay in school and have a chance to reach their potential.

We have seen first hand how valuable a good education is and what a difference we can make when we work together with a common goal. The school is the hub of the community in Bombo and the ripples of its impact are being felt throughout the town. We want to help that community grow and flourish and we hope that you will help us too!
