I heard about The Deaf Health Charity SignHealth and the work it does to give Deaf children a brighter and healthier future.  SignHealth also provides services in BSL (British Sign Language) such as care homes, counselling, outreach and award-winning work with abused women and children through Signhealth's DeafHope service.  Together with other Starbucks colleagues I wanted to do something to make a difference.  That's why I ran in the 10K.  Thanks to my amazing Starbucks customers, colleagues, friends and supporters I have already beaten my target but any further donations are welcome so I can make an even bigger difference to the lives of vulnerable Deaf people.
