Fundraising for Weston Hospicecare
Story

It's been a lifetime goal to one day run the London Marathon and after completing my first marathon in 2015, my running has improved, largely thanks to Weston Athletic Club.
Whilst the main ballot is like trying to find Willy Wonka's Golden to gain entry, I strongly felt 2019 would be the year for me to make that commitment and apply for a charity place.
I was extremely fortunate to be selected to run for Weston Hospicecare in Uphill, close to Weston-super-Mare. A charity that I have grown to know and support indirectly since moving to the area. Like many other hospices, the work that they do benefits such a vast number of people, especially throughout difficult and emotional times.
Therefore I hope you can support me in raising the funds throughout my journey towards completing the 2019 Virgin London Marathon and achieving both my personal goal and fundraising target.
