Story

On Friday, Josie and two of her friends will complete a 24hr silence to raise money for Child Soldiers International. They have been learning about the plight of child soldiers at school and decided they would like to do something to help. It is amazing how persuasive three 11 year old girls can be as they have already raised £140 going door to door with a sponsorship form on the weekend. I think it will be a tougher challenge than they think, especially on a school day, so any motivation will be gratefully received.

Child Soldiers, is a UK-based non-governmental organization that works to prevent the recruitment, use and exploitation of children by armed forces and groups.
