On 30th September I will be leaving Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead after 7 years as Chair of the board.  In this role I have also been Chair of the charity and have seen the valuable support it gives to patients and staff.  Our patients are often at a very vulnerable time of their lives and the hospital provides life-changing reconstructive surgery for patients across the south-east and beyond.  The care provided for our patients is rated ‘outstanding’ and I have seen how dedicated and committed all our staff are.

I would therefore like to raise funds for the charity as my ‘swan song’ (although if you see me swimming my style is far from swan-like!).
