On Monday 2nd April, my Half Marathon training will begin proper and I will have 12 weeks before my FIRST EVER half marathon race (across the Humber Bridge).

If your social media news feed is anything like mine, then it will be filled with brilliant people, doing brilliant things, to raise money for brilliant causes and I am always inspired by those willing to stretch themselves and give back.

So I am doing the same.

More To Life is an international charity doing some amazing things and I have been fortunate to have experienced the courses they offer and subsequently the positive impact on my life, from the resulting learning. Certainly over the last 5 years, as my own life has been buffeted from pillar to post, as a result of the loss of a 17 year relationship, divorce and additional curve balls that I did not want (!) I have been supported by both the tools I’ve learnt and also some remarkable people that I’ve met through the organisation.

My desire to fund raise for More To Life, is to pay it forward and create a bursary fund that will support others to access this work.

I do appreciate that donating money to a cause is a very personal thing...and that the charity I’ve chosen to support is not a widely known one (but is one that is close to my heart, for the direct impact the courses it offers has had on my life and the lives of close family and friends).

As such, I’m appealing for your support of me 😊

I am not a runner (!!) and this will be a BIG physical challenge, but I know that every donation (and the knowledge that your money will help others) will help me get over that finish line!
