I have set myself the challenge of swimming in this years London Marathon Swim Serpentine race. My race is on the 22nd of September 2018 at 12:45pm. This is a 1 mile race around the Serpentine lake in Hyde Park!

With no sides or floor to catch my breath i will be relying on determination and at times doggy paddle to get through it!

I like to set myself these (crazy) challenges to not only get fit but to help raise funds in my local community. I am doing this in aid of Carers Bucks who support unpaid family carers in Buckinghamshire as young as 6 years old. To find out more about this charity visit www.carersbucks.org
