I have never tried to use the exercise that I do to raise funds for charities; to be honest, I've always been a little scared to ask for money and as I do quite a few events I don't want to keep asking my friends and family for money, good cause or not.  2019 will be the one year that is different!

I'm supporting Age UK because I really want to help put a stop to older people being lonely, hungry, cold and in need, especially in one of the richest countries in the world, it's a nonsense isn't it?  I hope to be old(er) myself one day and I hope never to be in need of charity, but nothing is guaranteed so in some way I am also hoping there will be karma for this small act, for myself for running and for you for donating - please!!!
