We are running the Plymouth half marathon in may to raise money for the charity “Mind”.

This is in honour of our beloved colleague Deanna, who unfortunately passed away in early March. She was a truly incredible person who never failed to show up to school with a smile and within her time at Longcause she made a huge impact on the children that she taught. She is deeply missed, by all staff and all of our thoughts here at Longcause are with all of her family and friends.


This charity is to raise money to support those who have mental health issues. You never know what is going on in someone’s head and everyone should feel like they have someone to reach out to, and “mind” is that “someone”.
