My brother Alex and I are taking part in the Open  National Three Peaks Challenge on the 24th of August 2019 . This involves climbing the three highest peaks in England Scotland and Wales, all in 24 hours. We begin with Ben Nevis in Scotland , Scafell Pike in England and Mount Snowdon in Wales. My brother has some experience climbing these mountains but I am a complete novice and there’s every chance I might get left up one of them!

We would like to raise some money for charity, as this will really help us when we hit the inevitable wall at some point,  which for me will probably be halfway up the first mountain! We have decided on Donna’s Dream House as this is a small, locally run charity, providing free holidays to children and teenagers with life threatening and terminal illnesses . They are an amazing charity where every penny goes towards the children and their families.
