My condition is not AMD but PXE, a genetic disorder, with similar symptoms to AMD. 'Hello' to all PiXiEs. I have been registered as blind since 2005 but am able to navigate on a degree of peripheral vision.

I choose to support the Macular Society as a major research organisation for all visual impairment. This is a meaningful, personal challenge as a post-stroke survivor which will determine it's time span. My plan is to complete by Spring 2020 through regular varying walks around my home area, endeavoring to cover at least 10 miles a week.
