I am dedicating this Trek In Memory of John Ellis - a Good Friend and Colleague who passed away on the 4th Aug - doing something he loved Road Cycling - My thoughts and Prayers are with his Wife Kirsty and Children Toby and Phoebe , and his Family and Friends - RIP Mate Xx 

On September 24th this year ,  Myself and a small group of friends will be taking on the mighty and stunning -

Everest Base Camp Trek - 17 Days Trekking 

Taking the Northley Gokyo Lakes Route - with the highest fresh water lakes in the world ( no paddle boards allowed - asked that question ) nearly 5,000m high . 

With stunning views of the worlds highest mountain the iconic Mount Everest- 8848m 

This will very challenging with -20deg C at times / potential altitude sickness / 8 hours trekking a day and no shower for at least 10 days ..veggie diet and sleeping in tea houses on the floor ...but it will be all worth it with the views and the experience and raising some money for charity of course .

I have chosen to do this for the charity - Target Ovarian Cancer - as this has directly affected our  family , as my mum was very ill a couple of years ago and has thankfully come through this now . This is a good cause and more cancer research is definitely need to Battle this nasty illness . 

I am looking to Raise £1,000 - please give what you can and it’s much appreciated.
