Last year I was fortunate enough to be part of the team that constructed a brand new Gibside Special Educational Needs School in the heart of Gateshead. During that time, I was afforded the chance to get to meet a fair few members of the staff and pupils at this fantastic school. 

For those who don't know, Gibside is a school for children between the ages of 3-11 with all types of disabilities from Autism to physical disabilities. The school helps teach the children important life skills alongside the standard school curriculum. 

Whilst I'm immensely proud of the building we were able to provide them, the additional costs of specialist equipment and maintaining the school's own hydrotherapy pool don't come cheap.

As such, I have decided to run the 40th GNR to help raise some much needed cash for this great cause, and I'm asking for your help.
