Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I had already planned my adventure to trek to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal [March 2015] when a friend sent a video link about the Kenyan Orphan Project [see link on this page]; the content of the video inspired me to attempt to raise some money for the charity.

I now have two challenges, firstly to attempt trekking from Lukla to the Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas [12 days], the route goes via the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar and onward through valleys, dense forests and across glacial rivers before reaching the renowned peak of Kalapatar [5,545 metres] on route to the Everest Base Camp where the majority of the final summit attempts commence.

The second challenge is to raise as much money as possible for the Kenyan Orphan Project charity; I may not arrive at the Base Camp as some trekkers do not conquer the altitude sickness, however I will do all I can to raise as much money possible for the Kenyan Orphan Project charity.

Large or small donations are all equally appreciated by me and the KOP charity so please donate whatever you feel you can right now; all monies raised will go direct to the charity.
