On the weekend of 05th September my partner Neil reaches 50 and he wishes to spend the weekend in Cockermouth not only to celebrate his birthday but to celebrate the life of my lovely daughter Victoria who tragically lost her life in this area on the 01st July this year whilst we were both out walking....He wants to do something worthwhile and has decided to help raise money for Cockermouth Mountain Rescue.......Victoria and I was planning to do the Catbells and High Spy walk the following day so that is the walk that we are going to do on the 05th September. People are also welcome to not only do the walk but to join us for Neils birthday meal at the Trout Hotel in the evening.....If people want to stay overnight please ask me for details.
