On 17th February David suffered a sudden cardiac arrest at Preston North End. We thank our lucky stars that his life was saved by
the speedy response of fans and paramedics. A month in hospital, many  tests and finally heart bypass surgery followed this traumatic event.

On discharge from hospital David needed to regain his strength, both physically and mentally, and this is when the cardiac rehabilitation team and the Heartbeat charity really kick in, with their support, education and exercise programme. Their help has been invaluable to us.

As their work is financed purely by donations, this is our
chance to give a little back to them by doing the Morecambe Bay walk and raising as much as we can. So, if you feel inclined, please spare a pound or two. It will be greatly appreciated and keep the work of this amazing charity going for whoever may need it.
