We made it!
Yet the need is ever greater and the more money we can raise, the more wells we can build!
In order to keep pace with our walking, we have raised our fundraising goal to £7,500 ... can we achieve this as well? This would mean we could build even more wells in the various villages of the arid regions of Ethiopia! Can we achieve this? I DO BELIEVE WE CAN!

Did you have a cup of tea this morning? Did you just turn on the tap, wash your hands and brush your teeth or maybe you even had a shower. And the water just comes running out, clean, hygienic, hot or cold! We wash our hands probably more than ever before - the coronavirus pandemic has shown how important it is to have stringent hygiene routines and that of course comes with one essential requirement, to have access to clean, safe water. And yet 1 in 3 people globally DO NOT have access to clean drinking water - a real basic need. At the same time, lockdown and coronavirus restriction have made the work of charities such as CAFOD really challenging and fund raising very difficult.
