Enactus Reading has teamed up with Creating Better Futures to bring about a fantastic project 'Zimpower'; aimed at empowering young women in a rural area of Zimbabwe. We are building a skills centre where classes will be taught on the importance of sexual health and clean drinking water. We are also creating a co-operative where women learn to make their own sanitary towels from local materials and sell them as a source of income. 

Our challenge is to eat on a budget of £5 for 5 days between the 27th February to the 3rd March as a way of 'walking in the shoes' of those we are raising money for! The money will then contribute towards the building of the skills centre and sourcing materials for the the sanitary towels.
