We are fundraising to pay for UK research to help Fibromyalgia sufferers

Story

In September I will be taking on Tough Mudder: a ridiculously muddy 12 mile obstacle course. Tackling 20+ obstacles including electric shocks, ice cold waters, fire, monkey bars and jumping up vertical walls...all in aid of Fibroduck Foundation.

Fibroduck Foundation is one of few charities who support and fund biomedical research into Fibromyalgia syndrome.

Fibromyalgia syndrome is a long term condition which causes chronic pain in both joints and muscles all over the body. Fatigue, depression and sleeping problems are further side effects.

Currently no cure has been discovered. Painkillers and lifestyle changes are the only treatments which help relieve symptoms and make the condition easier to live with.

My mum is a sufferer. I am taking on this challenge to match the strength she shows every day. She is the strongest woman I know and a true inspiration.

Please dig deep and support Fibroduck Foundation 💕
