Story
The Carlisle Christian Aid Group is featuring COWS in a fundraising initiative during Autumn 2015.
In many of the world's poorest rural communities the local economy depends on cattle, and Christian Aid is helping the very poorest people in these communities - often single women with a family to raise - to own a cow and thereby earn a living from it and raise their status in the community.
Each cow costs £150. So if we raise £1500, that's the equivalent of 10 cows! Your donation will got to Christian Aid's Agriculture and Livestock Fund which funds this and similar initiatives to improve people's lives in the world's poorest rural communities.
