Event: London to Brighton Bike Ride June 2022, on 19 June 2022
In memory of Shaun Collins
We provide care for local families to help those with life-limiting illnesses

Story

As some of you are aware I lost my brother in law at the age of 57 in November due to Long Covid and Lung Cancer. Shaun was a huge character in our family and to all that knew him a loving devoted dad ,grandad and husband with a huge heart.

Those of you who have not seen me for a while I have lost a huge amount of weight in the last year. Now it’s my time to give back to this fantastic charity who have been amazing to my sister and her boys as well as many other families.

Shaun was supposed to be riding his new electric bike in June but sadly he passed away just 2 weeks after it arrived - so his wish was to ride it on this race. I have not ridden a bike for 34 years so to say this is going to be a huge challenge is an understatement - but I will do this along with my husband. Sister (who will ride with Shaun’s bike) and Shaun’s boys and partners. #teamrocket

I know that the world is in a terrible place at the moment but I would appreciate any donations that you can spare to get me through the day and raise some money for this super charities.

Thank you for your generosity in advance - I really do appreciate it.
