In the early morning of October 19th I will be making my way up Brighton's i360 (reminding myself of why I signed up!) to launch off the 450ft platform with our team of FareShare Sussex supporters, in order to raise money for this amazing charity! Eek.

Throughout my time at City Gate, I have seen and experienced the fantastic work that FareShare Sussex does in Brighton and beyond - tackling food poverty, reducing food waste and providing incredible volunteering opportunities for 150 people from all different backgrounds.

FareShare Sussex provides 120 charities across Sussex and Surrey with good, nutritious food that would have otherwise gone to landfill.

The money raised will do great things!! £500 enables FareShare Sussex to deliver enough food for 2,500 meals and prevent over a tonne of food from going to waste.

FareShare is a charity that means a lot to me and in September I will be working one day a week at FareShare Sussex and look forward to being a part of their team.

At 8am on October 19th, dangling from the highest abseil in the UK... I will no doubt need reminding of these reasons!!
