I've always wanted to swim the Channel but I never thought that it would become reality.  Well it looks like I've got my wish and now I need to put all the hard work into the training to ensure that I succeed.

I have a tough six months before me, but not as tough as those who rely on the services provided by Diabetes UK.  My ordeal will be over in a few months, but for those with diabetes it can have a lifelong impact on their health and quality of life
